Considering to the continuous use of DHT 11 and DHT 22 in general Arduino or any other board based project, either in college or hobby grade, there must be some sort of border line to use your project as a product.
Well, as far as I'm doing my experimentation on both, DHT 11 is not something you can try on. Possible error and long jumps are the main issue in controlling any project. DHT 11 goes from 16 to 24 degree Celsius in 2 seconds without any noticeable change in external environment. So, if you are having issues with it, don't be mad at yourself. Put the blame on it. :)
Talking about the DHT 22, that is a very good one under some given conditions, like it can hold up to 95% of humidity before getting a significant error.
Industrial durability of DHT is not so good, but adding some perforated filter like sintered metal cap.
Hold on for further information till next post or comment any queries.
